Macro Photos Can Make the
Uninteresting Interesting
|
These three flowers (perennial hibiscus or
botanical name is hibiscus moscheutos) were photographed in the
courtyard of the complex where we live. I picked dark background and
flat cloudy day.
|
Early morning natural light can bring out
details and texture. During the middle of day the harsh
overhead lighting would drown the details of these flowers.
This photograph was taken during a early morning walk at the
Kedron Valley Inn in South Woodstock, VT.

Bee and butterfly find space within same group of
flowers. I found many butterflies with nipped wings but waited for
better looking butterflies.

Butterfly on Orange
Flower

Almost perfect butterfly lands on orange flower.
Dark background help make the yellow wings pop out. Great detail was
achieved with 100 ASA Fuji slide film.
