Scientists use the word "primate" to describe a whole group of animals.  People are primates, so are apes, chimpanzees, monkeys, and a whole bunch of smaller animals called prosimians (say pro-SIM-ee-ens).

This web site is only about monkeys.  So if you want information about other kinds of primates, you'll have to keep looking.
